Some would say that mustard is an acquired taste. Others say they can't eat without it. Here are some mustard recipes that are vinegar free, and health friendly.
1. Mustard (tried, and liked)
- 1 cup water
- 2/3 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup unbleached white flour
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp. tumeric
- 1 tsp. salt
In a blender, blend all ingredients until very smooth. Pour into saucepan and cook over medium heat until thickened. Refrigerate.
