Regular store bought mayonnaise contains eggs. Vegan substitutes such as Vegennaise and Nayonnaise contain vinegar which is fermented. On the cross, Jesus Himself refused to drink of the vinegar offered Him. “They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, He would not drink.” –Matthew 27:34
