Refrigerator Pickles

Many people like the taste of pickles (especially pregnant women). Most pickles however, contain vinegar which is fermented and harmful to your teeth and body. “They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, He would not drink.” –Matthew 27:34. Here are some pickle recipes that call for lemon juice instead of vinegar.

1. Refrigerator Pickles

Combine in a 1-quart large mouth jar

Fill jar with sliced cucumbers, pressed down. Top with the remaining half onion, sliced. Cover and refrigerate. These pickles will be ready to eat in 24 hours.
